The Three Crucial Issues

Man's Problem

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23 ESV

All were born sinners, and we have broken God’s law. Sin separates us from God. (Romans 3:10; Isaiah 53:6; Isaiah 59:1-2)

God's Solution

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 ESV

Each of us are separated from God because of our sin, and we will give an account to Him. The finished work of Christ Jesus on Calvary is God’s only provision for sin. (Romans 5:8; 1 Peter 3:18; 2 Corinthians 5:21)

Man's Responsibility

but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 ESV

We are to trust in God’s work alone that Jesus died as our Substitute for the forgiveness of our sins and eternal life. (John 3:16; John 5:24; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 4:4-5)
